Chateau de la Londe

from £30.00

The sun rises on a late June morning, men of 1 Suffolk emerge from the hedgerows, through the sodden corn and under a barrage, to attack the Chateau de la Londe.

They would eventually take the Chateau at its grounds, but at great cost. The assault that began in the glow of a summer sunrise would prove to be the costliest of their entire campaign

-

Original painting: watercolour, ink and pencil 21cm x 29cm approx.

Limited edition prints: available in A5 (15cm x 21cm) & A4 (21cm x 29cm), 50 signed and numbers per size.
