Exhausted, soaked through by a Parisian summer storm, as he crossed the line on the Champs Elysées Tadej Pogačar raised an arm in recognition of all that he had achieved. All that he had endured for three long weeks. As he did so he joined a list of cycling greats to have won Le Tour de France four times.
